Have you been working to make your house more sustainable? If so, local community group, Tropical Green Building Network (TGBN) invites you to participate in the national sustainability event, Sustainable House Day 2014.
Sustainable House Day 2014 will be held in the Far North Queensland region on Sunday 14 September, and provides an opportunity for homeowners, community groups and businesses to proudly showcase an array of sustainable living ideas and design. “In the past we’ve had anything from a backyard fish farm to a fully sustainable house with no power bills.
Sustainable House Day has been a great success in previous years and it’s projected that over 200 homes will be on display nationally during the upcoming 2014 event.
Share your interest, knowledge and personal experience of green living with others by opening your home to the community. TGBN looks forward to recognizing and presenting the active steps residents are taking towards sustainability. If you would like to contribute to the growth of sustainable lifestyles in Tropical North Queensland we encourage you to register for Sustainable House Day 2014.
