Designed in Cairns is an initiative through the Australian Institute of Architects FNQ Regional Members Committee and held in conjunction with The Cairns Institute JCU. It provides continuing professional development activities for architects and designers generally in the regions.
The series is based on a theme around Designed in Cairns.

This Seminar
The fourth seminar in the series examines urban design for Cairns at both macro and micro scales. It asks what makes good design principle and elements for designing in Cairns in Tropical North Queensland?

 

The Presenter

Mr Paul Cohen is a Town Planner and currently the Coordinator of Licensing and Approvals for Cairns Regional Council. He has been working with Council for ten years, and been involved with large development applications, master planning projects, and the preparation of the Cairns Region Planning.
