A regional collaboration to showcase North Queensland's commitment to environmental stewardship, community wellbeing and economic prosperity. Held around World Environment Day (5 June) each year, ECOweek is an opportunity for event organisers, community groups and eco-minded businesses to have their individual sustainability events and activities included in a week-long festival that showcases our region's commitment to the natural environment and the vital role it plays in our community wellbeing and economic prosperity. A highlight of ECOWeek is the ECOFiesta, another opportunity to showcase your products or services.
ECOweek 2016 will run from 27 May to 5 June. All sectors of the community including local councils, community organisations, eco-minded businesses, learning institutions, government agencies and individual community members in North Queensland are invited to participate in ECOweek. Do you have a sustainability story, product or service that you’d like the community to know about? Stall applications are now open for the 2016 Cairns ECOfiesta. This is a free festival that attracts thousands of eco-conscious consumers, and it’s the standout event for getting yourself out there.
The expo zone runs from 10am to 4pm and is inside T2 of the Cruise Liner Terminal. Stall options are:
Single stalls = 1.8m frontage, 1 table and 1 chair provided - $80 fee. (Non-profit organisations free of charge)
