New Family Home
Lightweight tropical home with superb open plan design and high light filled ceilings. A central long-span spine along the skillion roof, with clerestory louvres along the span, is a perfect natural cool breeze catcher in the tropics. The long span centre of the home also has a long span of cabinetry used for storage, where one side faces a long hallway to the bedrooms on the southern elevation, and the other side faces the opan plan living area. The kids loved the long hallway, spaces at each end and the large open living area, to run round and round. The parents retreat is situated towards the front of the home, along with the office. The open plan living and kitchen seamlessly integrated with the rear deck and swimming pool area.
The home is steel frame with a variety of cladding and large banks of louvres.
